April - National Lawn Care Month

A healthy lawn is of utmost importance to our environment. It not only produces oxygen but it also cools the atmosphere. Healthy dense grass slows water run-off, removing contaminants and trapping soil. Yet, during drought years, many of us wonder whether we should replace our lawns. Before doing so, consider this.  Many lawns in the California North Bay are overwatered.  As your landscape professional we can help you "drought-proof" your lawn. Here are some of the ways:
  • Deep tine Aeration NOW!
  • Tune-up of your irrigation
  • Switch up irrigation cycles
  • Recognize signs of  visual stress
If you're thinking about tearing out or replacing your lawn, talk to us first. Drought tolerant varieties and ways to care for your lawn may require less water than you think. We're here to help and only a phone call away.
